Start-Up Stories

As iOS Developers we work on a lot of apps. While developing you hope that one of them will be the next great app in the App Store. Most don’t consider that building just one really smart app could be the ticket to millions of dollars. Instead of building lots of good apps, consider spending your time on one really great app.

When I need inspiration I look to the companies who have done this. Below are a couple of articles that explain how some of the best apps were created and the start-up adventures along the way.

Stories

The Real History Of Twitter

The Money Shot – The Story of Instagram

Photos, Texts, And Emails Show The Alleged Betrayal At The Heart Of Snapchat

How Rovio Made Angry Birds a Winner

Andreas Illiger: “Tiny Wings success was scary.”

Movies

There are also a lot of movies out about start-ups, below are a couple to get you going.
